Non-formal education offers one of the most effective environments for young people to explore complex social topics and practise active citizenship.
During the recent Erasmus+ youth exchange “QUEST – Decode Narratives, Make Choices, Take Part” in Italy, the HATE-LESS project took centre stage in a dedicated presentation led by consortium partner Mitra France.
Connecting with International Youth Leaders
Pavel Smulski, President of MITRA FRANCE, introduced the core mission and values of HATE-LESS to an engaged group of international participants.
Smulski’s presentation focused on:
- Decoding Divisive Narratives: Examining how polarised language spreads and influences public attitudes.
- Empathy and Respect: Encouraging open dialogue and positive communication across diverse peer groups.
- Active Youth Participation: Supporting young Europeans in making thoughtful choices and championing inclusive values in their local communities.
The session sparked an open, energetic exchange of ideas, with participants sharing their own lived perspectives on promoting kindness and mutual understanding.
As our consortium continues to develop resources for educators and youth leaders, direct exchanges ensure the project reaches European youth beyond the project countries.
Let’s choose more love, less hate.
